Rivers Fence was founded in 1955 by D.O. Rivers, a true entrepreneur who built the company from the ground up as a one-man operation serving residential customers. With a strong work ethic, hands-on craftsmanship, and a commitment to doing the job right, D.O. Rivers established a reputation for quality that quickly set his business apart. As demand grew, so did the company—adding employees and expanding its capabilities while remaining rooted in personal service and integrity.

The next chapter began when D.O. Rivers’ son, Robert Rivers, took over the business. Under Robert’s leadership, Rivers Fence experienced significant growth and transformation, becoming the leading residential fence company in Southwest Louisiana. His vision and dedication elevated the company’s presence in the region and strengthened its reputation as a trusted name in fencing solutions.

In 1986, Rivers Fence entered a new era of expansion when Eric Lamendola joined the company, focusing on business development and field operations. Eric played a pivotal role in broadening the company’s scope by securing major industrial and commercial contracts, positioning Rivers Fence to serve larger, more complex projects beyond its residential roots.

In 2017, Eric Lamendola purchased Rivers Fence, continuing its legacy while boldly guiding it into the future. Under his ownership, the company has grown into a recognized leader in industrial, commercial, governmental, and petrochemical fencing solutions. Today, Rivers Fence serves clients across Texas, Louisiana, and the entire Gulf Coast region and is the exclusive fence contractor for several major petrochemical and energy companies.
